Abstract:
Este trabajo enfoca desde una perspectiva psicolingüística una situación típica del ámbito escolar: el estudio de textos con evaluación escrita posterior. Cuando a un alumno se le requiere que estudie un texto, se le están proponiendo simultáneamente diversas tareas complejas que involucran comprensión, conservación de la información y posterior producción discursiva. En esta situación el alumno se encuentra en proceso de adquirir no sólo nuevos conocimientos de una asignatura, sino también la habilidad de producir textos de tipos o géneros que no necesariamente domina. En este trabajo se analiza una estrategia típica que se observa en estos casos, habitualmente llamada "estudio de memoria" en el ámbito escolar. Se utilizaron como muestra ejemplificadora de esta estrategia informal una serie de pruebas de desarrollo y de cuestionario con texto fuente controlado tomadas en el curso de Geografía a alumnos de 1er año de escuela secundaria. This work examines from a psycholinguistic viewpoint a typical situation of the educational settings: the study of text with written evaluation. When the pupil is required to study a text, different complex tasks are being proposed simultaneously that involve comprehension, memory and later discourse production. In this situation, the student is in process of acquiring not only new knowledge on a subject, but also the ability of producing texts of types and genres that he or she does not necessarily master. This work's goal is to analyze a typical strategy observed in this situation, usually called "to study by heart" in educational environments.
