	abstract = "This article reviews progress in a study aiming to establish the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in helping Jobcentre Plus' Incapacity Benefit (IB) customers' progress back into work. An outline of the project design is given, along with pre- and post-measures of psychological health, employability and job-seeking behaviour, and a timetable for the completion of the project. Although limited at this stage, the findings indicate significantly lower levels of depression/anxiety and higher levels of self-esteem for customers who completed their course of CBT. Positive results are found in aspects of perceived employability, with a number of successful job outcomes also reported.",
