Abstract:
The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of 11 biopsy-proven lesions of focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) of the liver were reviewed retrospectively. Only three lesions showed atypical features. It is believed MRI can reliably differentiate FNH from other liver tumours when strict criteria are fulfilled. Keywords: focal nodular hyperplasia; magnetic resonance imaging
